Meet Panelist J.D. Cutri


Joseph “J.D.” Cutri works at Plaza Home Mortgage, Inc. as a sales assistant out of the Boston branch office.  He joined the company in 2011 as an intern, and has worked in multiple departments within the organization, gaining knowledge in most aspects of the loan origination life cycle. Currently, J.D. is the sales assistant to the company’s top account executive, whose volume is $30 million per month. In his sales assistant role, J.D. actively supports production growth and has become a specialist in correspondent lending. 

J.D. graduated from the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management with a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in sports management.  In J.D.’s final year of college, he pursued an internship opportunity with Elevate Sports Management in Dallas, where he helped recruit athletes who were aiming to become professionals. 

He volunteers with Bannister Family House, an organization that provides a homelike atmosphere for families in critical care at UC San Diego Medical Centers. He was the winner of the Eller College of Management Case Competition, a member of the University of Arizona Sports Marketing Association, an affiliate of PUSH American Philanthropy, and is an alumnus of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity.

J.D. is a founding board member of the Young Mortgage Professionals Association (YMPA).
