BIOGRAPHY

Brian entered the field of mortgage lending in 1978, working for four different mortgage companies until 1988, when becoming a loan officer for SunStar Mortgage and purchased SunStar Mortgage in 1990. He was an independent mortgage broker until 2004, at which time SunStar became an affiliate of Bristol Home Loans, a major mortgage brokerage in Southern California. In October 2008, SunStar became the DBA for Golden Empire Mortgage’s Ontario office, with Brian becoming the manager of the branch.

Brian joined CAMP (formerly CAMB) in 1991, helping to form the Inland Empire Chapter.  He has been on the Inland Empire Chapter’s Board of Directors consistently since 1991, and has served as its President three different times. Brian has been on the state board of CAMP several times, but this is his first time in the Executive Committee, serving as Treasurer.

Brian Weide is a Past Chairman of the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce and he graduated from University of Redlands in 1982, with Distinction, with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration.

Married since 1975 to Roberta, Brian has two grown children and lives in Upland, CA with his wife.
