Sales and Marketing 2016
Happy Hump Day!  CAMP's Sales and Marketing Convention starts tomorrow.  If you want to increase your production in 2016, you can still attend the convention.  CAMP President, Anthony Lombardo, worked hard to get speakers who will add value to you and your business.  We hope to see you there.  Speaking of attending, we want to give you a special offer.  If you sign up to become a member at the event, we will offer free admittance to the event.  Additionally, if you join or renew your memebership today, you will not have to renew again until March 31, 2017 (you get over 14 months of membership for the price of 12!).  Click here to join or renew your membership.

Download the App!
If you are attending the Sales and Marketing Convention, you will want to make sure to download the CAMP APP!  From your app store, search "CAMP Sales and Marketing 2016" to get the app.

CFPB Feedback
Have you had any loans that you had to turn away because they did not qualify for a Qualified Mortgage?  Last month, several members of the NAMB Diversification and Inclusion Committee and the Government Affairs Committee met with the CFPB to discuss the issues for low to moderate income borrowers and their inability to get mortgage financings.  In that meeting, the CFPB said they were interested in hearing your stories.  If you have had to turn a client away, please tell us your story.  Email us at info@thecampsite.org.

Get Organized
I know we are all really busy.  We are in the new year and I'm sure you are slammed. If you're anything like me, you may be looking for ideas to help keep you organized.  I'm sure you don't have the time to review all the apps to see what will work for you. I came across this article that reviews and puts them all in one spot for you to review.  Check out this article on apps you need to optimize your time.

Legislative Update
Make sure to register for the 2016 NAMB Legislative and Regulatory Conference taking place Saturday-Wednesday, April 9th-12th in Washington, D.C. This is a "must attend" event for all mortgage professionals.  Last year, more than 10,000 realtors attended NAR's Lobby Day.  This year, NAMB would love to get 1,000 mortgage professionals to D.C. to help NAMB lobby on Capitol Hill.  Join NAMB as the association rallies to fight for consumers, small businesses, and mortgage professionals.  NOTE: Be sure to register today!  THIS IS A MEMBERS-ONLY EVENT.  The early bird cost until February 5th is $199 and $249 thereafter.  Click here to register.

State Lobby Day will be set for Wednesday, May 11th in Sacramento.  We will also be holding a CAMP Fundraising Golf Tournament on Thursday, May 12th.  Click here for more information and watch the state's newsletter as new information arises!
